Stefani joined the Shady Brook team in February 2025. She earned her degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2013, where she spent much of her free time working at the campus Wildlife Center and caring for a wide variety of exotic species.

She has worked as a veterinary technician since 2014, gaining experience in general practice, emergency medicine, surgery, and anesthesia. Stefani is passionate about all aspects of animal medicine—from routine wellness care to supporting pets and their families during life’s most challenging moments.

A lifelong animal lover, Stefani grew up with cats, dogs, horses, guinea pigs, and even a boa constrictor. Today, her home is just as lively, filled with her children, three cats, two dogs, and a flock of chickens.

In her spare time, Stefani enjoys hiking, karaoke, spending time with her kids, and relaxing with a cup of coffee while narrating the real-life soap opera of her chickens.
