Pet Boarding at Shady Brook Animal Hospital
We want your pet to feel as pampered and loved with us as they do at home. Our Magnolia boarding team will do everything we can to give your pets a safe and comfortable atmosphere while they stay with us. Our boarding facility is fully air conditioned and is built to give your pet all of the comforts of home while you’re away. Importantly, our veterinary staff are on call 24 hours a day for all of the pets who board with us.
Our feline guests will stay with us in a spacious room specifically for cats with a view for prime birdwatching. Canine guests have huge kennels indoors, with access to two fended play yards outside.
Your pet’s stay includes:
- Air-conditioned kennels
- Individualized attention
- Treats and meals per owner’s schedule
- Play time
- Regular email updates throughout your pet’s stay
When you come back to bring your pet home, your pet may not want to leave! We’ll send you and your pet home with a special gift when you check out.
Before You Board
Before you bring your pet to Shady Brook Animal Hospital for their stay, we ask that your pet is up to date with their healthcare. Your pet should be current on all their immunizations and parasite prevention. If they’re behind – no worries! We can make an appointment with our Magnolia veterinary team to get your pet up to date. We require an exam by one of our doctors prior to the stay so that we can be sure that your pet will be healthy and well taken care of with us. We’ll also ask you questions regarding your pet’s overall health and their needs before they stay with us. We want to get to know your pet and their needs so that we can make their stay as comfortable as possible.
Here are the following vaccines needed before your pets stay:
- Bivalent Influenza
You’re also welcome to tour our facility before you book a stay for your pet! We want you to be comfortable as well – we know it’s hard to leave your pets behind, even for just a little while.
